E-Commerce in Poland
In this edition of the newsletter, MainStage Logistics has teamed up with Sierra Balmain to delve into the topic of the changing face of e-commerce in Poland, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Galeria Malta is undergoing an evolution to which it has matured after a long-term presence on the Poznań market. The effects of successive changes are already visible in the center. The first floor of the gallery is being prepared for renovation works aimed at changing the character of this place. As a result of the reconstruction, a coherent unity will be created, consisting of multifunctional zones, naturally merging into one attractive space for spending time, relaxation and shopping. The new KiK brand, which will soon appear in the center, will perfectly complement a part of Galeria Malta's offer addressed to families.
"We are very glad of the next contract signed. The KiK brand will join such stores as Pepco, Dealz and Martes Sport, which perfectly shows the direction of changes taken by Galeria Malta. We are expanding our portfolio of tenants, focusing on stores with an extensive offer addressed to entire families. KiK is one of the major retail chains on the European market, which will complement Galeria Malta commercial offer next year. Customers looking for assortment for every budget will appreciate it "- comments Lech Polański, director of the center.
KiK is a chain of textile stores where everyone will find something for themselves. The brand focuses on the quality of its affordable products, supplemented with an assortment of non-food products, including home accessories and decorations, pet supplies and toys.
"Nowadays, customers expect something more from a shopping center than just shopping opportunities, that's why in our expansion plans we pay special attention to places that fit into this trend. Among them is Galeria Malta, where we will open our store next year. The fact that it is one of the most important places on the commercial map of Poznań perfectly corresponds to our vision of being as close to clients as possible. In addition, it is a family-friendly shopping center, and families with children are our most important target group. We are convinced that another KiK store in Poznań, located in Galeria Malta, will be appreciated by residents of this city ”- says Adam Puk, expansion manager at KiK chain stores.
The KIK store will occupy 670 sq m. And will be located on the ground floor of Galeria Malta. Its opening is scheduled for the first half of 2020.
