Sierra Balmain, a leading commercial real estate management company, is expanding its services at Osowa Shopping Center in Gdańsk. In addition to comprehensive management of the retail area for Stage Capital, the company is taking on leasing and lease administration for the second owner, OIK Gdańsk Retail Project Sp. z o.o.

Sierra Balmain has secured a new mandate to manage the Carrefour property in Kraków, owned by a subsidiary of Leoff Group. This marks another collaboration this year between one of the leading real estate advisory firms and the German-based real estate investment and asset management specialist with its dynamically growing portfolio.

At the May gala of the Baltic Real Estate Awards, Sierra Balmain secured three prestigious awards. Organized by EuropaProperty.com, our company was honored in the categories of "Professional Service Provider," "Property Management Company," and "Investment Asset Management Company."

On May 1, Sierra Balmain assumed management of the Power Park Opole shopping center, adding yet another collaboration this year to Sierra Balmain’s portfolio. The company is responsible for property management services.

Sierra Balmain is expanding its portfolio with another shopping mall. Starting in April, the company will take over property management of Galeria Pomorska in Bydgoszcz. The group will handle all the ongoing operations of the facility.

The title of Property Management Company of the Year, in the prestigious industry competition CEE Investment Awards, organized by the Europa Property portal, was awarded to Sierra Balmain. This is the culmination of the company's achievements this year, as well as confirmation of its strong position in the commercial real estate market, especially in its 20th-anniversary year. Additionally, the company also received an award in the personal category. The title of Rising Star under 35 was awarded to Marcin Popowski, Investment Manager at Sierra Balmain.

Sierra Balmain has created a new service aimed at helping owners and managers of commercial properties in Poland optimize their costs. The Common Charges Audit not only enables identifying and organizing areas for savings but also visualizing the cost dynamics in the future, evaluating the perspective of the property's development, and building its long-term value. The company emphasizes that this proprietary service was made possible through unique expertise accumulated over 20 years of experience in managing a highly diverse range of commercial buildings.

One of the leading real estate advisory firms – Sierra Balmain, has published its first ESG report. Among its achievements, the company highlights e.g., reducing electricity consumption by 40% in managed facilities, implementing projects designed to benefit local communities, as well as an effective equal opportunities policy in its own organization.

Gliwice's largest shopping centre Europa Centralna has a new owner. It is the leading Belgian investment fund Mitiska REIM. The agreement finalising the transaction was signed on 29 March 2023. The Europa Centralna shopping centre is one of the largest commercial buildings in Poland. Its 67,000 sqm of retail space includes a retail park and a shopping mall. The Gliwice centre celebrated its 10th anniversary on 1 March this year. During this time, the centre has become renowned for its extensive entertainment offer.

In January 2023 Sierra Balmain began the management of lease agreements and provision of financial services and corporate accounting for the Forum Gdańsk shopping center – a NEPI Rockcastle holding. This is the fourth collaboration between one of the leading real estate consulting companies and NEPI Rockcastle, the largest listed owner, developer and manager of shopping centers in CEE.

We have 20 facilities in 15 polish cities! Sierra Balmain’s portfolio has expanded to include three new shopping centers: Galeria nad Jeziorem in Konin, Pasaż Łódzki in Łódź and Centrum Osowa in Gdańsk. These three mandates add to a successful management partnership with Stage Capital, which already included Centrum Galardia in Starachowice.

In order to meet the expectations of visitors, Europa Centralna has introduced an online system for buying a comprehensive entertainment and food offer, which you can pay with a travel voucher for. It is an initiative that helps families to access a wide range of attractions, as well as a form of support for sectors mostly affected by the effects of the pandemic.

One of the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Poznan, managed by Sierra Balmain, was sold to a new investor. The agreement finalizing the transaction was signed on September 22, 2021.

We at Sierra Balmain have commented widely on the future of shopping centres both before and during the COVID 19 pandemic. Our position has not changed significantly except to recognise the now more urgent need to design and deliver changes to maximise customer retention and attraction thereby protecting and increasing footfall and income whether tenants’ sales or landlords’ rent both of which have been hit hard for the majority of us in our industry - whether landlord or tenant.

Museums on the borderline of illusion and art have already conquered the world, and now one of them will complete the Europa Centralna entertainment offer. Funzeum located in Gliwice will be the first exhibition of its kind in Poland, introducing to visitors the world of colours, illusions and surprising light plays. The opening of the new attraction is planned for this autumn.

This is another retail facility this year that has joined Sierra Balmain's portfolio. In February the company took over the management of Nowy Rynek in Jelenia Góra and from May it will also take care of the administration of Centrum Alfa located in the seaside district of Gdańsk-Przymorze.
